Knut's Guitars

Those 2 guitars were made for Knut Magne Valle.

The first one has got 5 layers in the neck, to give more stability. Neckthgough, for a very good sustain, on opposite of screwed necks, which loose vibrations. Also, on the contrary of screwed neck, you have a better feeling on higher frets. The switch is pointing down, to avoid uncontrolled manipulation. This guitar has no lack, and is finished with oil.

"Knute": Second guitar I made for Knut. It is my own design. Wood = Alder (svartor). Beize (beis) to make it black, "sanding", and color red for this guitar. Knut plays on this guitar live on stage with Arcturus

On the 1st picture, we see the first shape of the guitar, made of wood alder (svartor).

The 2nd picture shows adjustment, adding mechanics, electronic, microphones.

On the 3rd picture, Lars tries the guitar

The 4th picture shows color, the mechanics are removed for coloring process

On the 5th and 6th pictures,  Olav tunes it for the first time.

picture 2: First instrument I ever built, much before the school. Around 1994. Body is Teck (Teak). Neck was taken from an old bass.
